The upheavals of today are so overwhelming because the world order we know is collapsing. At the same time, a new era is emerging that is unlike any ever before on earth. As a historian who likes to look at big pictures I can tell you that this isn’t the first time something like this has happened. Humanity has endured, and survived, a tumultuous passage from one era to another six times already. That’s how we got where we are today.

To put it another way, we’ve seen this movie six times already. So we know how it ends: in a brighter future that as yet we can barely imagine.

I am weaving my decades of experience in cultural history and spiritual practice into visionary fiction that helps make sense of what’s going on now, and shows us the bright future that is even now emerging amid the chaos of today.
